Lake Seminole Inn

We were only two of millions of people that were escaping hurricane Milton. We reached our destination to Tallahassee from St Petersburg and hit a dead end for accommodations. We spent three and a half hours calling hotels to be turned away because everything in a 100-150 mile radius reaching into Georgia and Alabama was sold out! It was our breaking point. we didn't know what else to do. Fatigue took our strength. We decided on one more try. It just so happened that Snead's showed up. About an hour west of Tallahassee. We called and what a shock it was to be told, "we have one room left"! We asked the price, and jumped on it. When we arrived, we were told the only reason they had that one room, was because of a last minute cancellation! check in was seamless. The room was clean, no bugs and we had everything that was needed!! Refrigerator , microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, ironing board and ice cold A/C. Our bed was gloriously comfortable!!!! The owners are so kind and are up around the clock and the surroundings are quiet for being on a state highway. And the biggest surprise was the price!!! While everyone else was charging outrageous prices, The Seminole Inn keeps their pricing at normal, practical rates!!! It isn't a four or five star rated hotel but it is very worth the stay. Need is need and everything beyond that is fluff. In an emergency situation, what else is necessary? One would think that millions of people fleeing a potentially deadly storm, the hotel industry would have more compassion and not scalp people.

This was an amazing place! The room is clean. However, I did find a fly on the mirror, but it was dead, so it proved this place had either been inspected or sprayed. The only thing bad is it takes a long time to get to, and prisoners sometimes come from the prison field, and I'm worried a deranged one will come and hurt the people. I'm from north port so I'm not even sure if this common. But overall, good hotel and good rooms,

Very nice accomodations for price of stay. I stayed here because I needed a place to stay. While I was here at nice hotel I see my Father Working the Front Desk. I got some much needed rest in comfortable bed. I sleep better while near my Father. I hope he will see this. I have been trying to reach him for years!! I am stunned in his presence. He makes me feel like child. Love You. The car is no place for silly string or Items I could not leave in storage building. Hope you did not mind. Talk to me, I am getting old.

The rooms have been clean. The staff is friendly, accommodating. The TV, fridge and microwave and other amenities in the room all work well. I feel very comfortable staying here, there’s no pests, no noise issues. All in all, a safe place to stay.
